The 2026 Department figures, September 2026 included, are provisional and can change when the Department re-issues its file.2 A contract of sale is deposited when a buyer files the signed contract with the Lands Office, usually soon after signing. It counts transactions, not prices. The full monthly series is on the Paphos contracts of sale page.

How this is calculated#

Index levels and year-on-year changes are taken unchanged from the Central Bank's Q2 2026 workbook.1 Quarter-on-quarter changes and period totals are derived by us: later value divided by earlier value minus one, rounded to one decimal place, and monthly counts added together.12 Contracts of sale are the Department of Lands and Surveys figures for the Paphos District Lands Office.2 The 2026 counts are provisional: the Department re-uploads its current-year file every month, so recent months, September 2026 included, can be revised; we refresh this page when they are.2 The index itself is explained on the Cyprus Residential Property Price Index page. We explain our sourcing rules in our editorial policy and log any error we fix on the corrections page.
