The house index in Q2 2026#
The Central Bank of Cyprus Residential Property Price Index for houses across Cyprus stood at 98.04 in Q2 2026 (2010 Q1 = 100), +5.76% year on year.1 In Q1 2026 it was 95.64, so the quarter-on-quarter change was +2.5%, derived as 98.04 ÷ 95.64 − 1.1 Q2 2026 is the latest quarter the Central Bank has published.2
The index tracks how prices of comparable houses change over time. It is not a price in euros, and the Central Bank does not publish an average house price or a price per m². The all-property series is on the Cyprus Residential Property Price Index page.

How this is calculated#
The Central Bank of Cyprus compiles the index from property valuations supplied by credit institutions and publishes it as a workbook with each quarterly release.2 Index levels are taken unchanged from the Q2 2026 workbook (base 2010 Q1 = 100).1 Year-on-year changes are the index divided by the index four quarters earlier, minus one, to two decimal places; the quarter-on-quarter change is derived the same way from consecutive quarters and rounded to one decimal place. The Central Bank revises earlier quarters when new valuations arrive, so recent figures can change; this page is refreshed when they do. The method is explained in how Cyprus house price indices work.
Next official release: the Q3 2026 index, expected from the Central Bank of Cyprus around mid-December 2026, about two and a half months after the quarter end (date not announced).
