How to read these figures
- Contracts of sale show how active a market is, not how expensive it is. Larger districts naturally record more.
- The price index shows how prices moved against the same quarter a year earlier. It is not a price, and it says nothing about any one home.
- The foreign-buyer columns show where EU and non-EU buyers have been signing contracts, which tells you where other newcomers have bought.
- None of this tells you where to live. Read the area guide for each district, then visit before you commit.
