How this is calculated#
Index levels and year-on-year changes are taken unchanged from the Central Bank of Cyprus Q2 2026 workbook (base 2010 Q1 = 100); the year-on-year figure is the index divided by the index four quarters earlier, minus one, to two decimal places.1 Quarter-on-quarter changes are derived the same way from consecutive quarters and rounded to one decimal place. Contracts of sale are the Department of Lands and Surveys figures for the Limassol district land office, and quarterly and nine-month totals are the sum of the published monthly figures. The Department re-uploads its current-year file every month and the Central Bank can revise earlier quarters, so recent figures can change; this page is refreshed when they do.
Next official release: October 2026 contracts of sale, expected in the Department of Lands and Surveys re-uploaded 2025–2026 file during November 2026 (date not announced); the Q3 2026 index, expected from the Central Bank of Cyprus around December 2026 (date not announced).
