How this is calculated#

Monthly figures are the Limassol cells of the Department of Lands and Surveys contracts-of-sale PDFs, read unchanged into the market_data collection; they count contract documents deposited, not properties sold. Annual totals are the sum of the twelve monthly figures. Percentage changes are later period / earlier period - 1, rounded to one decimal place. Foreign-buyer figures come from a separate Department table that counts properties, so they are compared with the all-buyer count only as an approximate share. The Department re-uploads the current-year file every month, so the latest months can change. The Pancyprian series is on the Cyprus contracts of sale page.

Next official release: October 2026 figures, expected in the Department's re-uploaded 2025–2026 file during November 2026 (date not announced).
